Hey everyone! Today I want to share a review that I've been working on for the last month. Why so long? Well, I wanted to thoroughly test out the product in order to give you the most true and detailed review possible.
So let's start at the beginning!
The product I'm reviewing is the Boto Derm Rx Instant Anti Puffiness eye cream.
The product I'm reviewing is the Boto Derm Rx Instant Anti Puffiness eye cream.
The cream is intended to be used on the undereye area, and it is meant for normal to dry skin. Now, my skin type is oily combination skin. But, strange as it may be, my undereye are and specifically the inner corner seem to always be dry.
That really makes putting a concealer and powder on that are a though job, since they tend to accentuate the dry patches. This is the reason I wanted to go for a more moisturizing eye cream that suits normal to dry skin.
Firstly, when I opened the parcel I was pleasantly surprised. Not many companies take the time to add these foam packing peanuts to their packages. It showed me that they really care about the well being of the product while shipping, and that Shira Esthetics company puts an effort into their costumers' satisfaction.

And here is how the bottle inside looks.
It comes with a pump and not a regular type "squeezing" applicator. The pump helps to make the whole process more sanitized and prevents unnecessary transfer of germs while applying. I find that it also looks kinda more luxurious like this, won't you agree?
Looking at the back of the package, the cream claims to have a double effect. It is supposed to instantly minimize the appearance of puffy eyes, as well as eliminating them over time.
In the following photos you can see how it applies to the skin. It looks like a sheer white cream with a medium consistency, not runny or overly thick. It blends out to a sheer finish and takes about 5 minutes to fully absorb into the skin.
Finally, here are my thoughts after a full month of use.
Before
Before starting to use the cream, my undereye area looked especially puffy and dry when I first started using the cream. It most likely to the grueling University exam session I was in at that time.
During
When I first applied the cream, I noticed the undereye area feels moiturized. After a few minutes, when the cream absorbed into the skin, it left the skin feeling smoother. As a result, the foundation and concealer I put under the eyes looked great that day. I didn't notice any dry patches that I usually would see.
The same effect would happen every day I used it. With time I noticed I require less and less product. Meaning, the puffiness slowly vanished and the skin started to feel less dry with each day.
After
After a month of use, I find that most days I wake up with my eyes not looking puffy at all. Even after nights in which I didn't get much sleep!
The undereye area feels about 80% more smooth. Meaning most of the dry patches are gone and keep minimizing with each day.
In conclusion, I'm extremely happy I got to test the Boto Derm Rx Instant Anti Puffiness eye cream by Shira Esthetics.
I feel like the product exceeded it's claims and I will continue to use it.
I think it would be an amazing product to have especially during the winter, when my eyes feel extra dry due to the weather.
Also, during stressful and busy times such as exams, long nights at work and etc.
I would highly recommend investing in this eye cream.
